The company is about to launch Quest 3, a standalone mixed reality headset starting at $500 (currently about RMB 3,650), and is expected to announce more information at the Connect 2023 conference at the end of this month. However, a European e-commerce site has already leaked some accessories and pricing information.
According to MIXED, Dutch online seller UnboundXR.eu has listed some Quest 3 accessories and prices ahead of its official launch, including:
- Meta Quest 3 Silicone Mask (black), priced at €49.99 (currently around RMB 391)
- Meta Quest 3 Portable Case, priced at €79.99 (currently around RMB 626)
- Meta Quest 3 Elite Headband with Battery, price: €149.99 (current approx. RMB 1174)
- Meta Quest 3 charging base, price: €149.99 (currently around RMB 1,174)
It’s worth noting that these prices include Value Added Tax (VAT), which is 21% in the Netherlands.
Referring to the Quest 2, other accessories for the Quest 3 may also include prescription lenses, left and right-hand controllers, an elite headband without an external battery, and more.
The Connect 2023 conference will be held September 27-28 at Meta’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California.
