According to the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration website, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automotive Sales Co.
Mercedes recalls some imported GLE SUVs and GLS SUVs manufactured between July 19, 2021, and August 3, 2022, a total of 70 vehicles from February 13, 2023.
Some of the vehicles within the scope of this recall have the locking bolts of the steering coupler not tightened according to the specified torque, resulting in a possible gap between the locking bolts and the steering coupler and further loosening with vehicle vibration. In extreme cases, the locking bolt may come out of the steering coupler, affecting the handling of the vehicle and posing a risk of collision.
Mercedes-Benz (China) Automotive Sales Co., Ltd. will replace the locking bolts of the steering coupler for the recalled vehicles through authorized dealers free of charge and tighten them according to the standard torque to eliminate the safety hazard.
Ltd. recalls some domestic EQE electric vehicles with production dates between September 18, 2022 and October 29, 2022, a total of 223 units.
The high-voltage battery management system software control logic of the recalled vehicles is set unreasonably, which may cause the insulation measurement device (IMD) inside the high-voltage battery to shut down abnormally, resulting in the high-voltage battery losing power and the vehicle to lose power while driving, safety risks.
Ltd. will update the high-voltage battery management system software for the recalled vehicles through authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers free of charge to eliminate the safety hazard.
