MediaTek previously released the Dimensity 9200+ chip, which is its latest processor for high-end smartphones and the new Dimensity 8300 chip for mid-range devices is also on the way.
Revengus, who broke the news, shared the latest information on Twitter. The Dimensity 8300 chip will use a 1+3+4 architecture, a Cortex X3 core with a frequency of 2.8GHz, and three Cortex A715 cores with a frequency of 2.4Ghz and four cores with a frequency of 1.6GHz. The Cortex A510 core also supports the ARM Mali G52 MC6 GPU at 850MHz.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8300 is expected to launch later this year. It was previously reported that the flagship chip Dimensity 9300 is expected to be unveiled in October 2023, which is expected to be released earlier than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
