A few months ago, the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore was teased by the company as its first electric performance vehicle. Now, Maserati has begun to reveal some details of the coming electric performance vehicle. This vehicle will launch into the GranTurismo product line, which got its latest model back in the month of March.
The coming electric vehicle will be a fine blend between performance and style. In terms of design, the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore will share a similar look with its fuel-driven sister model, the GranTurismo. Performance and power source will be the main difference between the two vehicles, as the Folgore will be an all-electric vehicle.

For its performance of the coming Maserati GranTurismo Folgore boast of a 0-62mph acceleration in just 2.7 seconds. When it comes to speed, this electric vehicle will maintain a peak of 199mph making it a very competitive electric vehicle. Its 92kWh battery will cover a range of 350km on a single charge, this isn’t the most impressive range for an electric vehicle. But considering that this is the first EV from Maserati, the range it offers is a starting point.
This electric performance vehicle will launch as a low four-sitter thanks to the T-bone battery shape whilst maintaining perfect weight distribution. This vehicle will launch in a total of six colours, giving buyers more options to suit their taste preferences. The retail price of this vehicle once it becomes available for purchase will be somewhere around the $250,000 price point.
