The PS5 version of “Marvel Spider-Man Remastered Edition” will be launched in September 2020, using a bundled sales model. If players want to buy this game, they must also buy Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
After 2 and a half years, this game will finally be separated and independent. It is reported that users who have already purchased the physical disc (standard edition, deluxe edition, complete edition) or PS4 digital version of Marvel’s Spider-Man can pay to upgrade ($10) to the remake of Marvel’s Spider-Man.
It’s worth noting that those who got a free copy of the game with a PS Plus subscription won’t be able to upgrade.
The original Marvel Spider-Man was released on PS4 in September 2018. Remastered game coming to PS5 (as part of Miles Morales) in November 2020 and to PC (Steam, EGS) on August 12, 2022. As of mid-May 2022, Marvel’s Spider-Man and Miles Morales have combined sales of more than 33 million.
