Bloomberg News Mark Gurman was invited to participate in the podcast program The MacRumors Show, saying that Apple will not launch a chip using Apple Silicon at the WWDC Developers Conference held in June this year.
Mark Gurman covered a variety of Mac devices in the podcast, and the relevant information is as follows:
Mac Pro: Apple will still launch before the end of this year, but it will not be unveiled at WWDC in June. Apple has noticeably delayed the launch.
Mac Studio: Does not use the M2 series chips, and will not be updated until the M3 series is launched to avoid affecting the sales of Mac Pro.
15-inch MacBook Air: This notebook still has the M2 chip, which Apple was supposed to launch last year. The 13-inch MacBook Air may be the first to upgrade the M3 chip, and the 15-inch will be upgraded later.
Headsets: Mark Gurman said that Apple’s first AR/VR headset supports “in-air typing” functionality/features. Apple’s previous generations of headsets had a battery life of around 2 hours.
