Manufacturer Äike Launches World’s First USB-C Charging Scooter

According to NoteBookCech, the manufacturer Äike has launched the T e-scooter electric scooter, saying it is the first light electric vehicle that can be charged via USB-C cable.

The electric scooter reportedly features a 350 W motor with a top speed of 25 km/h and a removable 583 Wh battery that provides a range of up to 40 km (about 25 miles) and can be charged via 100 W USB-C, which takes about 8 hours to fully charge, or via a regular charger, which takes 4 hours to fully charge.

In addition, the electric scooter can charge other devices via a 5 V output.

The scooter is IPX5 rated and can operate in temperatures ranging from -17 °C to 35 °C. The scooter weighs 19 kg and can support loads of up to 150 kg.

The electric scooter is available for pre-order in Europe for 999 euros (about $6803.19) and is expected to start shipping in November.
