Like Apple and Microsoft, Google will be hosting a “Made by Google” hardware event this fall to introduce a number of new products under the Pixel brand. This year’s event will open at 23:00 GMT on October 6 and is expected to feature new products including the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel Watch.
The event is being held in New York’s Williamsburg neighborhood and will also be streamed online by Google. Google actually previewed the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel Watch at its I/O conference in May, and has confirmed the launch of the second generation of the Tensor sensor, the company’s custom chip that powers computing capabilities for photos, video, voice recognition and security.
The Google Pixel Watch is the company’s first watch designed and built in-house, and with Google’s acquisition of fitness company Fitbit in 2021, users can expect to see health and wellness features in the operating system.
