Pixelmator Pro is an excellent image editing software on the Mac platform. The software released version 3.4 update today, which focuses on adding the function of processing images in PDF format files.
Previous versions of Pixelmator Pro supported opening PDF format files, but in the 3.4 updates code-named “Camelot”, support for PDF files has been further improved.
In the new version, users can not only open PDF format files directly, but also can choose to specify the number of PDF pages. For example, users can now specify that they only want to open page 1, page 7, or page 17.
When “File”, “Open” or dragging a PDF document onto the Pixelmator Pro icon, a dialog box will appear. Page 1 is selected by default. Users can select the specified page according to their own needs.
In addition to choosing to open a specified page, the new version 3.4 also introduces a feature called “Import PDF with Layers”, which allows users to select the resolution and size of the document to be opened.
After enabling this option, the PDF format file will be reviewed, and the user can adjust the resolution of the specified page of the PDF file to facilitate subsequent adjustments.
Pixelmator 3.4 needs to run on macOS Ventura or higher, and the product is priced at 228 yuan.
