Logitech launches new Astro A30 Wireless Gaming Headset for $229.99

Logitech G brand has just launched the Astro A30 wireless gaming headset, featuring a powerful 40 mm driver, detachable boom microphone, and LIGHTSPEED 2.4 GHz wireless/Bluetooth connectivity. Whether it’s Sony PS 4 / 5, Microsoft Xbox One | Series X / S, Nintendo Switch, PC, or iOS / Android mobile devices, the Astro A30 is the ideal choice to help you enjoy your gaming experience to the fullest.

In addition to the flexibility of wirelessly connecting to a specific gaming device, gamers can mix/balance audio from multiple devices simultaneously and adjust each source independently as needed.

For example, gamers can play games on PlayStation 5 via the LIGHTSPEED 2.4 GHz transceiver while listening to Spotify music on their phone via Bluetooth and connecting to a Switch console via a 3.5 mm audio cable.

Of course gamers can also move from their living room to their PC and use Bluetooth to connect their Steam Deck handhelds while seamlessly switching between Astro A30 audio sources via the LIGHTSPEED 2.4 GHz transceiver.

In addition, with the new Logitech G Mobile App, gamers can customize and optimize audio profiles for games and voice on the Astro A30.

Tiffany Beers, head of innovation at Logitech G, said the above vision for the Astro A30 meant they needed to achieve two main goals.

The first was to deliver high-performance audio and a comfortable wearing experience, complemented by a sleek and customizable design, and the second was to create a headset that could connect to multiple platforms in a variety of ways.

The Astro A30 offers just the right amount of flexibility and portability, complemented by a comfortable wearing experience and a sleek new design. The headband and ear cushions include pivoting, comfortable memory foam padding and just the right amount of tightening.

In terms of color, navy and white options are available as standard. Notably, the Astro A30 also features an advanced detachable/integrated microphone for both home and on-the-go use.

The custom-tuned 40 mm drivers also deliver a carefully balanced high-fidelity/immersive audio experience, plus more than 27 hours of battery life.

Finally, the Astro A30 will be unveiled during Logitech’s inaugural Logi Play gaming streaming event. It’s expected to arrive on the website and in retail channels worldwide next month, priced at $229.99 (~1630 RMB).
