Logitech G officially announced a partnership with Tencent Games to launch a cloud gaming handheld that will support a variety of cloud gaming services later this year.
According to reports, the gaming handheld combines Logitech G’s expertise in hardware with Tencent Games’ expertise in software services. The new device will support multiple cloud gaming services, including Microsoft Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce NOW, allowing players to play 3A-grade game titles on the handheld.
Logitech G and Tencent Games have not yet officially revealed more details about the handheld, so we can look forward to the performance of the two players entering the handheld market.
Tencent obtained a patent for a “gaming machine” in May this year. The patent abstract shows that the product is used for gaming and entertainment, and the main point of the design is the shape of the product. The patent image shows that the console is made up of black and orange, with joysticks and buttons on both sides, resembling the Switch.
