According to media reports, at around 10:50 a.m. on July 22, Justin Lin and his son were involved in a car accident while driving, and the two were injured to varying degrees, with no life-threatening injuries. According to the report, the accident occurred on Chung Cheng North Road in Taoyuan City, where the white Tesla Model X car driven by Lin is suspected to have hit a power pole and later caught fire and burned the front end to scrap metal.
Firefighters soon arrived to put out the fire. Lin’s father and son were rushed to the hospital after getting out of the trap.
