- Lies of P, like the puppets being manipulated by the Souls, do a pretty good job of portraying them. There are a lot of homages and the music is great, but it’s a shame there’s no multiplayer element.
- The levels are not very open and the combat can easily fall into a particular style. However, the excellent weapon assembly system, boss fights, and storyline make this game worth recommending. If you’ve been waiting for a remake or sequel to Bloodborne, give it a try.

GameSpot 8
The setting and world design are excellent, and the combat is generally satisfying, with a strong focus on aggression and timing. The weapon assembly system ensures variety, and difficulty balance is not a problem.
However, the game’s story takes a long time to find its footing, the morality system seems largely irrelevant, and some of the boss fights are a bit too tightly designed.

The Lies of Pinocchio will be released on September 19th for PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and will debut with Xbox Game Pass.
