Li Bin, the founder and CEO of NIO, drove to test the endurance of the 150-degree battery pack. The current test is still in progress.
As of the press the team has traveled 574 kilometers, with 48% remaining power, a comprehensive power consumption of 13.9 degrees per 100 kilometers, an ambient temperature of 6°C, an interior temperature of 22°C, and a vehicle speed of 79km/h.
Just now, Li Bin further revealed one of the new products that will be unveiled on NIO Day soon – the executive flagship sedan ET9. “Some people guessed it was called ES9, EE9 or something, so please stop guessing!”
At the same time, Li Bin also emphasized that the “competing products” of this mysterious new car include the Maybach S-Class, BMW 7 Series, Porsche Panamera, etc. “This market has always been inaccessible to Chinese car brands. We believe that in the era of smart electric vehicles, administrative flagships have always been technology flagships. I think our Chinese companies have the opportunity to participate.”
At the beginning of this month, Li Bin revealed in NIO’s third quarter financial report conference call that NIO will release a new flagship model at NIO Day on December 23, which will be NIO’s “future technological innovation.” It is said that this car will have many innovative technologies, will become an industry benchmark, and will lead the development trend of smart electric vehicle technology.
