Li Auto announced through its official Weibo that it will hold a press conference at the Chengdu Auto Show, which will open on August 25th. At that time, it will announce the new progress of the 5C battery, urban NOA, and the first pure electric model MEGA.
According to a previous report, the pictures of the test vehicle of Li’s first pure electric model, the Li MEGA, have been exposed. The new car is an MPV model with a streamlined overall shape, resembling a “bullet”, and the second row will use independent slide rails. Li MEGA will use an 800V high-voltage platform, equipped with a 5C Kirin battery, and will be released in the fourth quarter of this year.

The car was first officially announced at the Li Family Technology Day conference on June 17 and is expected to be released by the end of this year. Li Automobile officially stated: “Li MEGA will become the number one product with sales of more than 500,000 yuan, regardless of energy form or body form, breaking the traditional perception that high-end pure electric vehicles cannot become explosive products.”
Li’s previously announced 5C battery supports 800V high-voltage fast charging, with a peak charging power of more than 500kw, a range of 400 kilometers in 9 minutes and 30 seconds, and a range of 600 kilometers in 22 minutes of charging; 5C fast charging uses low internal resistance cells, reducing heat generation by 30%. Li also launched an automatic charging robot, which supports automatic gun insertion, automatic charging, automatic settlement, and automatic driving out.

As for the city NOA, the official said at the Family Technology Day press conference that the internal test will be opened in Beijing and Shanghai in June, and the commuting NOA function will be opened within half a year. Li Commuter NOA claims that with the help of AI large models, it can achieve driving performance close to that of human drivers without relying on high-precision maps.
