Li Auto released an official document to answer popular questions about Li L8. When talking about why the replacement product of the Li ONE is called the Li L8, the Li car said that the Li L8 is not only the replacement of the Li ONE but also the second product officially launched by the Li series.
According to reports, Li Auto is establishing a more complete product sequence, using letters to represent product platforms, L to represent the SUV series of extended-range electric platforms, and numbers to represent differences in model size levels. Among them, Li L9 is the flagship full-size 6-seat SUV with an extended range platform, Li L8 is a luxury medium and large 6-seat SUV, Li Auto will also launch Li L7 and Li L6 products.
Li L9 is a family smart flagship six-seat SUV (full size, within 500,000);
Li L8 is a family smart luxury six-seat SUV (medium and large, within 400,000);
Li L7 is a family smart flagship five-seat SUV (medium and large, within 400,000);
The Li L6 is a family smart luxury five-seat SUV (medium size, within 300,000).
Li Auto pointed out that after completing the replacement task, Li will continue to guarantee Li car service, including the continuous supply of parts for more than 12 years, and continue to maintain Li software and OTA services and continue to provide every 20G free data per month.
In response to the problem that there are two versions of Max and Pro for the same model, Li Automobile said that the new four-wheel drive electric system, magic carpet air suspension, 7.3.4 panoramic sound system, a front four-screen interactive system with HUD, NOA Navigation-assisted driving will be standard on the Li L8. Li Auto said that “at the level of intelligent driving and intelligent space, combined with the different needs of users for intelligence, two versions of Max and Pro have been launched.”
Among them, the Li L8 Pro model comes standard with intelligent driving AD Pro and intelligent cockpit SS Pro. AD Pro uses the world’s first Horizon J5 chip and comes standard with high-speed NOA navigation assistance. SS Pro uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and a front-row four-screen interactive system (HUD, safe driving interactive screen and two 15.7-inch LCD screens in the front row).
Li L8 Max models come standard with Smart Drive AD Max and Smart Cockpit SS Max. AD Max uses NVIDIA’s dual Orin X chips, lidar, and a full set of autonomous driving safety redundancy systems. SS Max uses Qualcomm dual Snapdragon 8155 chip and a five-screen three-dimensional space interactive system (HUD, safe driving interactive screen and three 15.7-inch LCD screens in the front and rear).
In terms of delivery time, Li Auto said that after the press conference on September 30, the order for Li L8 has been officially opened, Li L8 Max will be delivered in early November, and Li L8 Pro will be delivered in late November.
