LG not long ago announced the 27GR95QE OLED gaming monitor, which will be available for pre-order on December 12 for $999.99 (about RMB 7,180). Now, LG’s overseas website has now updated the monitor’s brightness information.
LG official website shows that this monitor is at 25% APL, with an SDR brightness of 200 nits. Publicly available information shows that APL is a way to test the brightness of OLED screens, the all-white screen is 100%, black is 0%, other colors between the two, and display photos and videos when the APL is about 25%.
The monitor features a 26.5-inch OLED panel with four narrow edges, QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms GtG response time, 10bit color depth, 1500000:1 contrast ratio, and 98.5% DCI-P3 color gamut.
Elsewhere, the monitor features HDMI, DP, and USB 3.0 ports, an external power supply, and support for DTS:X headphones. Officially, the monitor is the world’s first 240Hz OLED gaming monitor, combining the image quality of LG OLED series monitors with the refresh rate of LG UltraGear series monitors.
