LG’s first 240Hz OLED Gaming Monitor will be available in January, starting at $1,000

LG Electronics has launched two new monitors – 27GR95QE and 45GR95QE, the company’s new 27 and 45-inch gaming monitors, two new products support a 240Hz high refresh rate, in the global OLED monitor market is the first time.

Available for pre-order in the US starting December 12, the monitors will launch in key markets in North America and Asia in January, Europe in February, and the Middle East and Latin America in the following months.

The LG UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor (Model 27GR95QE) boasts QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and an astounding 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time for smooth, lag-free gameplay in fast-changing scenes. Also covering 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, the monitor’s anti-glare and low-reflection (AGLR) panel makes it easier to see what’s on the screen so users can enjoy a distraction-free gaming experience regardless of ambient light conditions.

With support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatibility, and FreeSync Premium, LG’s 27-inch UltraGear delivers seamless visuals with minimal tearing or stuttering. It also supports HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4, and integrates a 4-pole headphone jack, allowing users to enjoy the realistic spatial sound of DTS Headphone:X.

LG UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor 45GR95QE
A CES 2023 Innovation Award winner, the 45GR95QE is LG’s first-ever 45″ curved OLED gaming monitor featuring a 21:9 aspect ratio, WQHD (3,440 x 1,440) resolution, and the first 45″ with an 800R curvature monitor.

The 45GR95QE’s curved OLED panel offers a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and 98.5% DCI-P3 coverage, and like its 27-inch counterpart, the 45-inch version has a 0.03ms GTG gray-to-gray response time and a 240Hz refresh rate.

In terms of price, the 27-inch version is priced at $1,000 (about 6,960 yuan), while the 45-inch version is priced at $1,700 (about 11,832 yuan).

LG has confirmed that it will exhibit its premium UltraGear OLED 27GR95QE and 45GR95QE gaming monitors at CES 2023 (January 5-8) at the Las Vegas Convention Center, booth number 15501.
