LG Gram series laptop once again broke through the self-definition of the lightest and thinnest laptop. LG’s 15.6-inch Gram Ultraslim laptop, which is showing off at CES 2023, is just 10.99mm thick and weighs just 998 grams (35.2 ounces).
LG Gram Ultraslim is equipped with a 15.6-inch OLED screen, Intel’s 13th-generation Raptor Lake processor, and an ultra-compact power adapter. The laptop’s memory starts at 8GB and supports up to 32 GB. In terms of storage, it uses fourth-generation NVMe storage, starting at 256GB and supporting up to 1TB.
In addition to the LG Gram Ultraslim, LG has also introduced two new sizes for the Gram Style, 14 and 16, with an aspect ratio of 16:10. The 16-inch display has a resolution of 3,000 x 2,000 and a refresh rate of 120Hz, and the 14-inch display The screen has a resolution of 2,800 x 1,800 and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The LG Gram Style isn’t quite as good as the Gram Ulstraslim, but it comes with a nicer screen and a bigger battery (80Wh). If you don’t need the extreme ultra portability of the Ultraslim, the Style may actually be the better choice for most consumers.
LG also introduced two Gram 2-in-1 devices in 14 and 16 inches, but the screen resolution is a bit lower than the Gram Style. The 16-inch 2-in-1 model has a 2,560 x 1,600 LCD touchscreen with a 60HZ refresh rate, and the 14-inch is only 1,920 x 1,200 with a 60HZ refresh rate. That’s still pretty good, but it definitely has a gap with Style.
