LG Korea has a new tablet, the LG Ultra Tab, which just launched. This is a productivity tablet that comes with a 2K screen resolution and a close stock android experience. Pricing of this device is on the budget side of the tablet market. Hence it will appeal to most people looking out to get a productivity tablet for work or school.

There are a few strong selling points of this device, like its screen size and its pricing. But, unlike other productivity tablets, the new LG tablet doesn’t come with a magnetic or Bluetooth connecting keyboard. It makes up for this lack of a keyboard with other areas such as a good processor and a Wacom Stylus pen.

In terms of strength and durability, this tablet comes with US Army MIL-STDG durability standard. This means that the new LG tablet will be able to withstand some accidental drops. To ensure this standard, LG went through a series of 29 tests to affirm the strength of this device.
LG Ultra Tab price and availability
A few years ago, LG stepped out of the smartphone manufacturing business, it is good to see this new entry from the company. The Ultra Tab is manufactured in China and is available for purchase in Japan. As for its availability, we aren’t certain whether we will see this device make its way to other locations other than Japan.
There is only one colour option with this tablet being Charcoal Grey. The same is true of storage, as only the 4GB/64GB options are available with this tablet. The retail price of this tablet starts at 512,800 won (~$393) although there is a price discount which makes this tablet available at just 464,000 won (~$327).
