Today, Lexar announced the GOLD series 2TB ultra-large capacity CFexpress Type B, which will be available in the near future.
According to reports, the Type B GOLD PRO, which adopts PCIe3.0 dual-channel and NVMe high-speed protocol standard, has a read speed of up to 1900MB/s and a write speed of up to 1500MB/s. It can be used for high-speed continuous shooting and 8K RAW video recording. Type B GOLD PRO provides 1TB / 2TB storage options. When paired with the Nikon Z9 shooting test, the 2TB capacity version can save more than 15,000 photos in RAW lossless compression + Fine format. This capacity version can also record up to 40 minutes of 8K 60P N-RAW video footage.
Lexar has not yet announced the price of the new 1TB / 2TB CFexpress Type B memory card. The current GOLD series CFexpress Type B card with a 512GB capacity is priced at 6799 yuan.
