At today’s LeTV press conference, LeTV launched a variety of projectors and highlighted its flagship Letv LE900 “4K single-chip smart projection”, priced at 4,799 CNY.
The official mainly emphasizes the lamp and chip of this projector. The relevant information as follows:

In terms of design, the projector is equipped with “IML carbon fiber technology” and is claimed to “use the outer tube of IML carbon fiber technology for the interior of a luxury car”.
In terms of hardware, the projector is said to use a “customized high-brightness horizontal sealed optical engine” and is equipped with the HiSilicon V811 chip. Officials say it can bring a “far leading” flagship performance combination.
It is learned after inquiries that this chip is an upgraded version of the “Honghu 818” previously used in Huawei smart screens. It can realize MEMC (dynamic picture compensation), HDR (high dynamic range imaging), SR (super resolution algorithm), NR (Noise reduction algorithm), DCI (Dynamic Contrast Enhancement), ACM (Intelligent Accurate Color Adjustment) and LD (Districted Light Control) and other features. While improving network connection speed and data transmission capabilities, it also supports Wi-Fi 6, USB 3.0, full-featured HDMI 2.1 interface and other features, and supports up to 8K30Hz video decoding.
The official also introduced LeTV’s customized 4K projection display, which is claimed to have “8.3 million pixel point-to-point output, high-definition without jitter.”
In addition, the projector comes with a Hi-Imprex image engine, which mainly includes three technologies, namely “CA content adaptive technology”, “SR super-resolution algorithm” and “NR intelligent noise reduction”.
In terms of audio, the projector is equipped with a 12Wx2 unit, supports Dolby Atmos, and has an independent bass booster.
