Lenovo’s new ThinkPad X1 Extreme coming soon: up to i9-12900H + RTX 3080 Ti

Lenovo’s overseas website has now announced the configuration information of the new ThinkPad X1 Extreme, which is expected to be available soon.

IT Home has learned that the ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 will be available with i7-12700H, i7-12800H and i9-12900H, with optional RTX 3050 Ti, RTX 3060, RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards, up to 64GB DDR5-4800 memory, and up to two PCIe 4.0 SSDs for storage. Two PCIe 4.0 SSDs.

For the screen, the notebook is available with 16-inch 1200P, 1600P and 2400P screens with up to 600 nits brightness and 100% Adobe RGB color gamut.

The notebook measures 359.5 x 253.8 x 17.9 mm, weighs 1.88 kg and has ports including two Thunderbolt 4, SD card reader, HDMI and more.

The ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 is scheduled to be available in the Eurozone from June 2022, starting at €2,749 (about $19,990.41), with no domestic release date announced yet.
