Lenovo unveils next-gen Legion Slim laptop, including 14-inch version

Lenovo released the 8th generation of Lenovo Legion Slim laptops overseas, including the new Legion Slim 7i and 7 (16 inches), Legion Slim 5i and Legion Slim 5 (16 inches) and this year’s Brand new size Legion Slim 5 (14 inches).

According to reports, the 8th-generation Legion Slim 7i is equipped with an i9-13900H processor, and the Legion Slim 7 is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS processor, both of which are equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU and up to 32GB of 5600MHz DDR5, and the screen can choose 2K 240Hz VRR 500nit panel, also optional 3.2K 165Hz VRR 430nit panel.

The official said that the cooling performance of this series of laptops has been further improved thanks to the onboard Lenovo LA AI chip, which dynamically adjusts cooling performance to maximize frame rate and minimize noise, making Legion Slim 7i and 7 Achieve up to 140W TDP performance release.

In other respects, this series of laptops is equipped with a battery of up to 99.99Wh, equipped with a 230W ultra-thin adapter, both USB-C ports support 140W charging, and is equipped with a MediaTek Filogic 380 Wi-Fi 7 network card. The thinnest part of this series of laptops is only 17.99mm and weighs less than 2kg.

The Lenovo Legion Slim 5 and 5i are available in 16-inch versions, and there is also a 14-inch Legion Slim 5 with an OLED panel.

In terms of configuration, Legion Slim 5i is equipped with up to i7-13700H processor, while Legion Slim 5 is equipped with up to AMD Ryzen 9 7840HS processor. Both models feature an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU and can be configured with up to 32GB of 5600Mhz DDR5 memory. With a TDP of up to 160W, the Legion Slim 5i is as thin as 19.7mm at its thinnest point and as light as 2.3kg.

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7i equipped with an Intel Core processor starts at $1,769.99 (currently about 12,178 CNY), and is expected to go on sale in April 2023.
