Foreign whistleblower @Evleaks shared a high-definition rendering of the ThinkPhone in the latest tweet, confirming that the device will use the same carbon fiber material as the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon notebook.
It is reported that the ThinkPhone will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, with 8GB and 12GB of memory options, and three storage options of 128GB, 256GB or 512GB.
The phone will use a 6.6-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 1800 x 2400, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The rear camera array is rumored to feature a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a depth sensor. A 32MP front-facing camera will handle selfies and video chats.
The machine is equipped with a 5000mAh capacity battery inside, with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The phone will have an IP68 rating, which means it’s not only dustproof but also capable of functioning properly in 5 feet of water for 30 minutes. The machine will be pre-installed with the Android 13 system and equipped with an under-screen fingerprint sensor.
