Lenovo Legion Y9000K 2022 gaming laptop official announcement: i9-12900HX and RTX 3080 Ti

Previously, the official Lenovo Legion had already started the preview of the new generation Y900K gaming notebook, saying “the big one is coming”.

Today, the official core configuration of this gaming notebook was finally announced. According to the official data given, the 2022 Y9000K will be equipped with a maximum Intel i9-12900HX flagship CPU, which features 8P+8E 16 cores and 24 threads, 30MB of tertiary cache, P-core frequency of 3.6-5.0GHz and E core frequency of 1.7-3.6GHz, and 32 units of integrated core graphics at 1.55GHz.

Compared to the flagship i9-12950HX, the i9-12900HX is open to full-core overclocking and can deliver more powerful performance than the flagship model when heat dissipation allows.

In terms of GPU, the new Y9000K can be equipped with up to NVIDIA’s RTX 3080Ti, which is able to handle mainstream 3A games without any pressure.

According to known sources, the Legion Y9000K will feature a 16″ 2.5K screen with 16:10 ratio, 165Hz or 240Hz options, 3ms response time, and HDR400 certification.

In addition, the laptop comes with a 99.9Wh battery, measures 358.1 x 263.5 x 19.4mm (at its thinnest point), weighs 2.5kg, comes with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-C port that supports 135W fast charging, as well as HDMI 2.1, a network cable port and more.

At present, Lenovo Legion has not yet officially announced the 2022 model Y9000K release time and price.
