The launch date of the Lenovo Legion Y70 is now official. This device will launch on August 13 just 10 days after the launch of the Motorola X30 Pro. The specifications of this device aren’t available from Lenovo at the moment.
This device will be an addition to the Y-series from Lenovo Legion. One of the few devices from Lenovo with the Y naming is the Legion Y90 launched in the month of March. This device uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and up to 18GB worth of RAM. But, it is a gaming smartphone with core gaining features and an aggressive look.

This coming device will as well be an addition to the Legion gaming smartphone line-up. Unlike its predecessor, it won’t come with an aggressive look or design. From the image Lenovo put up on their Weibo account, we can see a design that doesn’t reminisce the Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone line.
The image gives away the main camera ability of this device, which will house a 50MP sensor. There will also be support for 8K video recording on the main camera. We can as well tell a bit about the performance of this device from the launch promotion image.
On the image, Lenovo refers to this coming smartphone as a “formal beast” meaning the performance will be top-notch. We can expect it to launch using the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Also, it might pack similar memory as its predecessor with up to 18GB worth of RAM. Official confirmation of this coming device’s specifications will come from Lenovo.
