Lenovo Announces New ThinkPad P14s Mobile Workstation with Riptide PRO 6000U Series Processors

Aug. 9 – Lenovo has now announced the new ThinkPad P14s Gen3 thin and lights mobile workstation, powered for the first time by AMD’s Raider processor in the series.

The new ThinkPad P14s is equipped with the Rex RPO 6000U series processor; the graphics card is core, with PRO APU driver; the memory is LPDDR5, up to 32GB; the SSD is PCIe 4.0, supporting up to 2TB.

As for the screen, the ThinkPad P14s is available with either a 14-inch 1200p touchscreen or a 2400p touchscreen with a 100 % DCI-P3 color gamut and 500 nits brightness.

In terms of interfaces, Lenovo’s new ThinkPad P14s come with USB-C, HDMI 2.0, RJ45, USB-A, etc. The wireless card is Qualcomm’s NFA-725A, which supports Wi-Fi 6E.

At the moment, Lenovo has not announced the price and availability of the new ThinkPad P14s.
