Meta Company announced today at its Connect Developer Conference that LEGO will launch a mixed reality game called “LEGO Bricktales” for Quest 3.
“LEGO Bricktales” is a puzzle adventure game developed by ClockStone and published by Thunderful Publishing AB. It was launched on Steam and mobile platforms last year.
In the game, players are tasked with traveling across five LEGO-themed biomes, ranging from sun-drenched deserts, bustling city corners, and towering medieval castles to tropical Caribbean islands and deep jungles. The challenges include: Build a throne or build a bridge. Like many of the games showcased at Connect 2023, the VR version of LEGO Bricktales offers an MR mode that allows players to place LEGO dioramas on a real-world table.
In addition to Quest 3, “Lego Story” will also support Quest 2 and Quest Pro. The game will be released on December 7, 2023. Pre-orders have been opened for $30 and pre-ordering will also get you an exclusive LEGO alien costume.
