The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 will be unveiled next week, but there is still a steady stream of leaks coming out. The latest news shows off the cases of the upcoming folders. The design of both phones has been tweaked, but it’s largely the same, so the cases don’t look all that different.
This Galaxy Z Flip4 case shows the existing “silicone cover with tether” design, the main purpose of the tether is to serve as an easy-to-use grip to hold the phone securely when needed and to keep the phone’s shape intact when not needed.
In this generation, the Galaxy Z Fold4 also gets a lacing design, albeit slightly different: it lacks a metal buckle. In both cases, the length of the strap can be adjusted to better fit the owner’s hand.

Here are a few more designs that were leaked a few days ago. the Z Fold4 will include a “slim stand-up cover” accessory that will retail for around 44 euros. The back has a slender kickstand that holds the phone at an angle. The case doesn’t have a slot for the S Pen, but other cases may (the Z Fold4 itself has no place to store a stylus).
As for the Z Flip 4, there will be a more premium flip case design (€73) and a more basic clear case with a keychain (€29) available.
The Galaxy Unpacked event will take place next Wednesday, August 10, but you can already pre-order the phone now in the US and India. The event is also expected to bring the new Galaxy Watch5 series and the new Galaxy Buds Pro.
