League of Legends” will start a region-wide shutdown at 1 a.m. on October 26 for maintenance and update version 13.21. Extreme Blitz mode will return in the new version and receive some quality-level improvements.
Officials stated that the last time Extreme Blitz was launched was version 11.11. In the new version, the hero balance gain percentage adjustments for all heroes in this mode have been reset. A lot has happened since the last Ultra Blitz, from tons of gear/hero updates to durability updates. The League of Legends team took this opportunity to reset balance buffs and establish a new baseline.
A large part of this version is following up on the changes in version 13.20. Overall, the League of Legends team achieved the main goals of these changes – the game snowballs a lot less, there are more battles between players, and the average game length is only slightly longer. Still, late-game heroes win more than early-game heroes, which means some rebalancing is needed. Although the jungle changes put the junglers back on par with other positions in the early stage, it also really hurt the basic attack junglers. So the League of Legends team is buffing them. Finally, Quisanti’s update achieved its goal of adding counterplay to him, but didn’t give him the power expected, so this patch gives him some buffs. In addition to follow-up changes, the League of Legends team aims to make Morgana, Seraphine, Brand, and Zyra all play multiple positions.
