League of Legends hand tournament official microblogging was informed that the League of Legends hand tournament Asia League season one will be divided into three stages, respectively, the regular season, the playoffs and the finals. In addition, the 20 teams of the first season of the League of Legends Asian League will be divided into 2 regions: WRL CN region – 12 teams; WRL APAC region – 8 teams.

Specifically, the regular season will be played in a BO3 format, with the 20 teams divided into divisions for a points competition. During the regular season, each team will play the other teams in the same division once and half of the teams in the different divisions once.

Throughout the regular season, all teams will be ranked according to their division, with the top 8 teams in WRL CN and the top 4 teams in WRL APAC advancing to the playoffs.

In the playoffs, the WRL CN and WRL APAC teams will play their own regional playoffs, which will be a double-elimination tournament.

The top four teams from WRL CN will go directly to the WRL CN playoff winners bracket and the bottom four teams will go to the WRL CN playoff losers bracket; the WRL APAC teams will all go to the WRL APAC playoff winners bracket. The 1st and 5th place teams in the regular season (WRL CN division) will have the right to choose their first-round opponents.

The top 2 teams from each region (4 teams in total) will advance to the finals.

The finals will be played over 3 days, with the 4 teams playing a BO1 round robin on the first day, with the 1st place team advancing directly to the finals on the third day.

The second day will be a single-elimination bubble match (BO3+BO5) between the bottom 3 teams, with the final winner advancing to the third day of the finals. The final will be a single-elimination BO7 to determine the overall WRL A1 champion.

Fight for Side Rules:

  • Fight for Side (FFS): Before each regular season match and the finals, both teams will play a Fight for Side game, with the winning team receiving the first pick of the side.
  • WRL A1 Fight for Side game mode: Polar Trials SOLO mode, both teams will choose a player to play, and in the weekly rotating pool of 20 heroes provided by the officials, each team will disable 2 heroes and choose one hero each based on the results of the disablement (2 blind bans; 1 blind pick).
