League of Legends introduces 2v2v2v2 fighting spirit arena mode

League of Legends Introduces New 2v2v2v2 Fighting Spirit Arena Mode, Coming Next Version

League of Legends” will soon launch a new mode in the next version — Fighting Spirit Arena. Officially, this is a new 2v2v2v2 game mode, four two-person teams will continue to fight through multiple rounds of battles until one team survives.

Officials said that in order to present epic battles, they made four very unique battle spaces and added some new mechanics to push the gameplay in the right direction. The battle phases will take place in four different arenas of varying sizes and shapes, with “deep water” and a new plant, the Energy Flower.

In the game, after each round of battle, the loser squad takes damage. Then they will return to the store screen, where they will find something even crazier than equipment — Reinforcement Runes.

Reinforcement Runes are permanent enhancements that give heroes a variety of different abilities, and there are up to four Reinforcement Runes to obtain. These Enhancement Runes are divided into three levels: Silver, Gold, and Prismatic.

In addition, the cooldowns in this mode will become very low, heroes will become very fast, and skills can blast. These enhancements are designed to reach interesting combinations with the heroes’ skills, strengthen their image settings, force players to deal with some very crazy situations, and even new summoner skills such as [Blade Waltz], which puts you into an unpickable state during which you can make repeated surges and deal multiple damage to enemies.

The equipment mechanics in the Fighting Souls arena are a little less different. During the first two purchase phases, each player will receive 1000 gold coins to buy an outfit, followed by shoes. After buying shoes and outfit, you will receive gold in each non-fortification phase, and some additional gold during the battle. If you manage to kill at least one enemy hero, you will receive 350 gold in return. You can spend 700 gold and use a new type of potion to get a single turn of fortification.

In the Fighting Spirit Arena, you will also occasionally see “Fighting Spirit Awakening” themed heroes to enrich the battle. You will see 10 heroes with Fighting Spirit Awakening skins randomly impacting the battle. Each hero has a unique mechanic that helps or hinders the summoner in battle, while also bringing fun to each battle.

What if the other team in your room is super lucky, or your enhancement runes don’t fit your plan? This mode allows you to exit the game early. This means that if you lose a fight, you can leave the room and re-queue to join a new match.

An overview of how to play the Fighting Spirit Arena as follows:

Step 1: Get in line

Spirit Arena supports a single queue or double queue.

Step 2: Select / Disable

Everyone has one chance to disable it, and then it goes to blind selection — you can’t see the heroes your enemy has chosen. You may encounter an opponent with the exact same lineup as you, but you and your teammates cannot pick the same heroes. And there are no runes or summoner skills!

Step 3: Battle!

Each Fighting Souls Arena is divided into multiple rounds, each of which contains a procurement and a battle phase. During the purchase phase, you can choose to enhance runes, or gain gold to buy equipment. Then you move on to the battle phase, where you fight to the death. Each battle phase is a 2v2 match, where the winner keeps their life points and the loser loses a portion of their life points. The team that survives to the end wins!

The Soul Fighters have also prepared some surprise tidbits to make the battle more exciting. So beware of the Lax lasers and Sacco pranks flying around, victory is not always easy. The top two teams will advance on the ladder path from Mumu Gladiator to King Gladiator.

Step 4: One More Time

As soon as your team is eliminated, you can quit and start lining up again for a comeback!
