At the exhibition, Laowa announced two Ranger Space Gray lightweight lenses. The colour was changed to space gray, the material was changed to magnesium aluminium alloy, and the bayonet was made of titanium alloy, making it lighter.
The two lenses have focal lengths of 28-75mm and 75-180mm respectively, and are positioned as full-frame professional zoom cinema lenses. The weight has been reduced from the original 1440g and 1360g to 1255g and 1220g respectively.
This lens has a large aperture of T2.9, adopts a professional parfocal design, supports back focus adjustment, and is equipped with a PL mount (replaceable EF mount component).
