The Kubuntu Focus team and Carbon Systems jointly launched a Linux laptop–Focus Ir14. This is the fourth Focus-branded laptop to feature Kubuntu LTS and the KDE Plasma interface.
The Focus Ir14 weighs 3 pounds and features a 14-inch narrow bezel screen with 450 nits of brightness and a resolution of 1920×1200 with 100% sRGB color.
The laptop has a battery life of 6 hours and can be charged through the USB-C port. It is equipped with up to 64GB of 3200 MHz dual-channel memory and 4TB of dual hard disk storage (free full disk encryption is optional). The starting price is $895.
