Kia announced that it will redefine PBV as a “Platform Beyond Vehicle” and will officially launch its global PBV business at CES 2024.
According to reports, this is the first time Kia has returned to CES in five years. At that time, it will introduce its future PBV product lineup and business vision, and will display a variety of PBV concept cars.
In addition, Kia will host an indoor PBV car show in the LVCC West Hall and an outdoor electric vehicle show in the LVCC Central Plaza from January 9-12.
Kia said it will display five PBV concept models, including the first PBV planned for mass production in 2025. In addition, Kia will showcase the EV3 and EV4 concept cars as well as the EV9 and EV6 GT, and introduce Kia’s vision of “Electric Vehicles for All.”
In addition to the concept vehicle, Kia will bring a series of dedicated introductions and demonstrations about PBV, focusing on the company’s “Software Defined Vehicle Strategy” and “Partner Integration Program.”
