The KDE project team has released the KDE Plasma 5.27.6 maintenance update today, a month and a half after the last update.
The KDE Plasma 5.27.6 maintenance update focuses on fixing a source crash in the Powerdevil daemon program after going to sleep, further improving the Plasma Wayland session, and fixing an issue with the mouse cursor looking strange in the XWayland application.
This update also improves the scaling of Plasma Wayland so that lines do not fail again; the update fixes a visual inconsistency in parts of the Breeze theme right-click menu.
This update improves the Plasma X11 session, improves the experience of dragging files to Task Manager tasks, improves the display of short strings in KRunner search results, and improves the window tiling effect.
The update also improves keyboard navigation, allowing users to use the arrow keys on the keyboard for navigation.
The new version also improves support for Flatpak apps, displays updated versions of Flatpak apps in the correct order, and correctly fetches the version number of updateable Flatpak apps.
