Microsoft has released a security update KB5012170 for Secure Boot DBX for Windows versions in Win10 and Win11 that are still supported during Patch Tuesday this April.
The KB5012170 update dates back to December 2021, when Microsoft withdrew the update after users reported multiple issues after installing it.
Microsoft released the update again in April of this year, but users again complained that after installing the update, the device would not boot up, and they could not even enter Troubleshooting mode, requiring a BitLocker recovery key or System Restore.
