At the Guangzhou Auto Show today, Jidu’s second model ROBO-02 was officially unveiled. The car is positioned as a pure electric coupe and adopts a very sporty fastback body design.
The shape of the front face of ROBO-02 is basically the same as that of ROBO-01, with a rounded shape, equipped with penetrating daytime running lights and interactive AI pixel headlights, which integrate interactive AI pixel lights, high and low beams/turning/daytime running/position lights, and hidden lidar. Like ROBO-01, ROBO-02 is also not equipped with exterior door handles but uses 4 electric doors with silent suction doors, which can be opened in various ways including voice and Bluetooth. The shape of the through-type taillight is also the same as that of ROBO-01. It is worth mentioning that the aircraft is also equipped with an active lift-type tail.
The interior of ROBO-02 has not been officially announced, but it is speculated that it will refer to the interior of ROBO-01, providing a 35.6-inch 6K ultra-clear all-in-one screen, U-shaped steering wheel, cancellation of physical controls such as the shift lever, and a panoramic glass canopy.
In terms of intelligence, Jidu ROBO-02 should also be equipped with the same Jidu independently developed intelligent architecture JET as ROBO-01, using Qualcomm 8295 smart cabin chip and Nvidia Orin X smart driving chip. Sensors and other components, and the point-to-point pilot assist PPA will also match, so that ROBO-02 also has L4-level automatic driving capabilities.
The official power parameters of ROBO-02 have not yet been announced. Refer to the data of ROBO-01. It is equipped with a front and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive system with a maximum output power of 400kW. It is equipped with a 100kWh ternary lithium battery from Ningde Times. The mileage exceeds 600km, and the official acceleration time from 100 kilometers is 3.9s.
