Jiangsu Yueda Kia recalls some new generation K3 plug-in hybrid cars

According to the State Administration of Market Supervision website, a few days ago, Jiangsu Yueda Kia Motors Co., Ltd. according to the “defective automotive products recall management regulations” “defective automotive products recall management regulations implementation measures” and “motor vehicle emissions recall management regulations,” the requirements of the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration filed a recall plan.

Ltd. decided to recall some of the new generation K3 plug-in hybrid cars produced between June 12, 2019 and April 12, 2021, a total of 800 vehicles from July 1, 2022.

IT home learned that the recall range of vehicles due to the engine after the oxygen sensor heating temperature setting is low, the rear oxygen sensor induction parts may occur poisoning, resulting in the engine fault light occasional light, in extreme cases may cause unreasonable emissions.

Ltd. will upgrade the ECU program for free for the recalled vehicles to optimize the stability of the rear oxygen sensor detection; and replace the rear oxygen sensor that has been poisoned and failed to eliminate unreasonable emission hazards.
