iQOO Z9 / Z9x / Z9 Turbo series phones full specifications exposed, release on April 24

The iQOO Z9 series will be released on April 24. It is reported that three models will be launched at this conference, namely iQOO Z9, iQOO Z9x and iQOO Z9 Turbo. The person who broke the news, Ishan Agarwal, was the first to report Before the press conference, the complete specifications of the new machine were brought.

Display: The iQOO Z9x comes with a 6.72-inch 120Hz LCD screen, while the other two models have a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED panel.

Camera: Both iQOO Z9 and Z9x use a 50MP main camera and a 2MP portrait lens. The top-end Turbo version may use an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens instead of the portrait secondary camera. As for the front camera, iQOO Z9x uses an 8MP front camera, while iQOO Z9 and Turbo versions have higher-pixel 16MP front cameras.

Processor: iQOO Z9x is equipped with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, Z9 is equipped with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, and iQOO Z9 Turbo will be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor.

Memory: iQOO Z9x and regular Z9 may use LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 storage, but the Turbo version will have a faster combination of LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage.

Battery: All three phones will be equipped with large-capacity 6000mAh batteries, but the iQOO Z9 and iQOO Z9 Turbo will have faster charging speeds of 80W, while the iQOO Z9x may only have 40W.

Software: In terms of system, all three phones will be pre-installed with the OriginOS 4 operating system based on Android 14.

Design: The iQOO Z9x may be slightly heavier at 199 grams (the other two models weigh 195 grams). It is reported that all three models use plastic back covers.

Others: The iQOO Z9x may use side fingerprint recognition, while the Z9 and Z9 Turbo will have under-screen fingerprint recognition. The iQOO Z9x also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, but the other two models have eliminated this interface. Additionally, the iQOO Z9x lacks infrared remote control and NFC capabilities, while the Z9 and Z9 Turbo support these features.

It is noticed that judging from the leaked specifications, the iQOO Z9 series targets different market segments. iQOO Z9x focuses on balance and practicality, Z9 strikes a balance between performance and price, and the top-of-the-line Z9 Turbo is prepared for players who pursue ultimate performance.
