A new version of the iQOO Z5 might launch soon, this device will bring a few changes to the original model. The Z5 model from iQOO launched in the month of September 2021. But according to Digital Chat Station via their Weibo page, the company plans on launching a second entry to this device.
Our source uses the same name for the new model as did the previous model. Despite this, there will be a lot of changes in performance and features. The 2021 iQOO Z5 model’s screen size is a 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ display. It also packs a 5000mAh battery, a 64MP triple camera setup and a Snapdragon 778G SoC. The leak from Digital Chat Station shows changes in the specs of the Z5 model, which will launch this year.
The new iQOO Z5 model uses a 6.58-inch high-brush LCD screen. The battery on this device is a 6000mAh battery and supports a 44W fast charge. The increase in battery capacity on this device makes it thicker than the previous model, this new entry measures 9.21mm in thickness. The SoC on this device is not available yet, but it is said to compete with the Dimensity 8000 series. So it definitely will not be a processor from MediaTek, but a Snapdragon processor is more likely to feature on this device.
The launch date, availability, and price of this device are not yet available. But, the pricing of this device might be similar to that of the previous Z5 model, the pricing of this device is between 1899 yuan to 2299 yuan. iQOO will make this information publicly known in the coming months.
