The iQOO Neo6 SE launch date has been revealed. The company recently announced the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered iQOO Neo6 in China. The firm confirmed through a Weibo post today that it will be holding a launch event at 7:30 PM CST on May 6 in China to announce the iQOO Neo6 SE.

Ahead of the launch, the company has started taking pre-orders for the iQOO Neo6 SE through the official website and JD.com. Unfortunately, none of these listings have revealed any information about the specifications of the device. As the moniker suggests, the device will be positioned lower than the iQOO Neo6.

iQOO Neo6 SE Specifications

According to a recent leak, the iQOO Neo6 SE’s core specifications will be similar to the iQOO Neo6. In fact, both phones may differ mainly in the chipset department. The iQOO Neo6 SE is expected to feature the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform, instead of the SD8G1 chip.

The device is likely to house a 6.62-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution. The screen may support a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It may house a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

The camera details of the iQOO Neo6 SE are not known yet. The Neo6 offers users a 16MP front camera, and its back panel has an OIS-ready 64MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide snapper, and a 2MP macro camera. It’s possible that the company will give more information about the Neo6 SE’s specs before the company makes its official announcement.

The iQOO Neo6 SE is likely to rival the SD870 powered Realme Q5 Pro, which was introduced recently with a 1,799 Yuan ($275) starting price. The iQOO phone may probably carry a similar price tag.
