iQOO 12’s battery size and charging capabilities may have been revealed in a new Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station. In the screenshot below, the tipper has used an emoji of blue pants, which indicates that he is talking about the brand iQOO. The battery size and fast charging information that he has shared in the post seem to be about the iQOO 12.
iQOO has been offering 120W charging on the vanilla versions of its flagship phones, such as the iQOO 10 and iQOO 11. However, their Pro variants, such as the IQOO 10 Pro and 11 Pro have offered 200W wired charging.
Earlier this year, DCS claimed that the standard iQOO 12’s will offer a faster wired charging solution. He also hinted that the device would support wireless charging.
In today’s leak, the tipster has seemingly revealed that the iQOO 12 will have a 5,000mAh battery with 200W wired charging. It is not clear whether it will support wireless charging. Probably, the wireless charging feature could be exclusively available on the Pro model.
The rumor mill is yet to reveal the other details of the iQOO 12 series. In all likelihood, the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro may come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and Android 14 OS with the latest OriginOS version on top.
