Apple has recently announced its iPhone 14 lineup of smartphones, which includes the Apple iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The brand introduced a new “dynamic island” feature and its pro model of smartphones. However, it has not even a few months passed properly and we have started getting leaks and rumours regarding the upcoming Apple iPhone 15 lineup.
iPhone 15 Ultra; a new addition to the lineup?
Known tipster LeaksApplePro (@LeaksApplePro) on Twitter has leaked some of the key specifications of the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup. According to him, the lineup will include four different models; iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra. The “Ultra” will replace the existing “Pro Max” device. He further says that the price for iPhone 15 lineup will start from $1199, which is on the higher side compared to its predecessor.
Finally, he claims that Apple might ditch the lightning port on the iPhone 15 lineup and will replace it with the USB Type-C Port. Further, the dynamic island features will be present on all the models of the iPhone 15 lineup, this aims that all the devices will have pill shape notch cutouts.
Both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra are expected to come with the A17 Bionic SoC from Apple. The newest A16 Bionic SoC, which is currently only available in iPhone 14 Pro models, will power the regular iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, claims the tipster. According to reports, the company is developing 8K video recording support for the iPhone 15 lineup.
