iPhone 14 Pro Max screen replacement too tough, professionals also take 4.5 hours

How long do you think it would take a seasoned repair professional to replace an Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max screen? The answer is 4.5 hours.

The latest video uploaded by YouTube channel Huge Jeffreys shows the entire process of replacing a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max screen, and it’s 19 minutes long, but the actual replacement took 4.5 hours.

Jeffreys lamented during the teardown that Apple used a variety of screws to hold the iPhone 14 Pro Max components in place, which forced him to pull out a variety of screwdrivers.

There are also a large number of small components inside the iPhone 14 Pro Max that need to be removed or pried apart. jeffreys says these components are so small that a sneeze could blow them away and cause them to be lost.

Jeffreys recommends that the disassembly process must use magnetic pads, otherwise the disassembled screws and small parts will be lost.
