Recent leaks show that a coming iPad Pro model will be the largest in Apple’s production history. Ross Young via his Twitter page confirmed the production of this iPad. He also gave the possible launch period of this device, which will possibly come at the beginning of 2023.
This isn’t the first time that we have got a report of a larger iPad. Sometime in the month of June last year, Mark Gurman stated his hopes for a large iPad Pro. His expectations fell within the 14-inch to the 15-inch screen size range. The hopes of Mark now seem like a revelation of what is coming with the rumoured 14-inch Mini-LED iPad.
Currently, the largest iPad on the market is a 12.9-inch machine. At this size, I argue that the iPad due to its form factor is too big. But, we are now expecting a larger iPad, which is edging towards the size of a MacBook.
Although this is a leak and not yet certain, it makes a lot of sense considering Apple’s plan to make the iPad more like a laptop. The WWDC event brought a lot of features to the coming iPadOS update like Stage manager which enables better multitasking. The coming iPad might just be a performance beast, offering productivity on a larger screen.
The coming iPad Pro will possibly come with the M2 processor that is in the work. Not only will this be a large screen iPad, but it’ll also pack a performance punch. We look forward to seeing the launch of this large screen iPad. This device will walk the line of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra which has a massive 14.6-inch screen.
