iOS 16.4 RC code shows Apple will launch new AirPods earbuds and cases

Developer @aaronp613 dug deeper into the iOS 16.4 RC release today and found the AirPods earbuds with model number A3048 and the AirPods case with model number A2968 in the system code.

Apple updated its AirPods product line in 2021,it is likely that Apple will not launch new AirPods products at this stage, according to a report by foreign technology media MacRumors.

The code mentions new AirPods, but there are no reports that Apple will launch new AirPods, and the reports also suggest that the next AirPods may switch from a Lightning port to a USB Type-C port for charging.
