Intel’s new 56-core workstation processor W9-3495X scores revealed

Intel’s first Sapphire Rapids processor for workstations exposed running score information before its release. The model is Xeon W9-3495X, which is the highest-end flagship product of the series.

Geekbench information shows that the Intel Xeon W9-3495X has 56 CPU cores with a base frequency of 1.9 GHz and a maximum frequency of 4.6 GHz. In addition, the processor has 105MB of L3 cache and 56MB of L2 cache.

The running score shows that the processor is equipped with 128GB DDR5-4800 memory + Supermicro X13SWA-TF motherboard, with a single-core running score of 1284 and a multi-core running score of 36990. Single-core performance is about 15% lower than AMD’s flagship workstation processor, the Threadripper PRO 5995WX, and multi-core performance is also weaker (the latter can reach 40,000 points).
