YouTube channel RedGamingTech anchor Paul shared information about Intel’s Meteor Lake and Arrow Lake architectures in his latest video.
The video information says that the Intel Meteor Lake desktop processor (MTL-S) supports up to 14-core Core i5, including 6 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores. The Arrow Lake architecture will launch Core i7 and Core i9 SKUs.
Paul said the MTL-S entered the ES1 (engineering sample) stage last month, while the mobile MTL-P entered the ES2 stage in March 2023.
Paul said that the top-of-the-line Core i9 based on the Arrow Lake architecture will contain 8 Lion Cove P cores and 16 Skymont E cores.
Paul said that compared with Raptor Lake, the IPC improvement of the Arrow Lake architecture is about 18%-20%. This is roughly in line with the IPC lift figures reported by MLID in March (22-34%), and with Paul’s leaked data from February 2023 onwards.
